It’s been widely spread in the internet and in the newspapers the story of the young Hannah Bond, a 13 year-old girl who hanged herself because she was an “emo”.
The journalists and her own parents said she was a huge fan of the band My Chemical Romance, and she killed herself to join “The Black Parade”, which is the place where all emos go when they die.
We’re an Italian community of My Chemical Romance fans, and we are just disgusted from what we’ve read.
We want to tell THE WHOLE TRUTH about what MCR is.
They’re a band that SAVES LIVES, and we’re going to tell you all why.
We all are very young, and most of us have been fans for years, way before the “emo trend” exploted between young kids. (please, forgive any grammar mistake, we are not english speakers)
1) ” She had secretly chatted to “emo” followers online all over the world, talking about death and the glamorisation of hanging and speaking about “the black parade” – a place where “emos” believe they go after they die. “
That’s not the correct interpretation of the album’s concept.
This is the story according to what singer Gerard Way said (you can also find it in the book in the special edition of the album).
The Black Parade is the story of a young man who dies tragically young due to cancer.
The songs talk about life seen from another point of view, from someone who’s not alive anymore.
Why a “black parade”?
Singer Gerard Way said that, for the concept of the album, he liked to think that “death comes to you in the form of your strongest memory”.
And the strongest memory of The Patient (the main character, as we said) is his father taking him to see a marching band when he was a little child.
The album is no incitation to suicide.
Indeed, tha last track of the album is an invitation The Patient gives to us: to LIVE OUR LIFE, whatever it gives to us!
“I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone. Honey if you stay I’ll be forgiven, nothing you can say can stop me going home” (Famous Last Words).
There is nothing that talks about “a place where all emos go when they die” and no invitation to suicide.
2) Everyone can interpretate music according to his mind. A 13 year-old kid is still a child, and can be impressed and get obsessed by everything.
And, by the way, they put the “parental control” logo in their cd covers for a reason. If somebody tells you to wear an acid-green tutu and dance techno music in Times Square, you surely (I hope, ahah) won’t do it, though you may find it fascinating (come on, it’s an example
). The same with music, if you hear a song about a dude killing someone, you surely won’t go killing people, though you may find it fascinating.
If you kill people after having heard a song, you are INSANE.
You just have to be enough responsable and grown-up, no matter how old you are.
My Chemical Romance’s music has always been made to undersand the fans.
All of the band members were “losers” when they were at high school.
They were alienated, pushed around. They felt useless, failures. They felt ALONE.
They just turned into music what they used to feel at that time, their revenge fantasies.
Obviously, this is not an “educative” thing.
But being understood makes you feel that you’re not the only one who’s messed up.
Everyone wants to be understood.
My Chemical Romance understood the uncool kid who wanted to kill the cheerleader.
This is no INCITATION to kill. As we said, you don’t do everything that’s told you.
Many of these understood kids are still alive thanks to My Chemical Romance, and you will read their stories.
Nobody’s denying their music (particularly the first 2 albums) is violent.
AND SO WHAT? There’s billion of bands making violent music.
There’s people who like violent music and are perfectly “normal” and have no social disease.
EVERYBODY, and I say EVERYBODY has dreamed at least once to kill someone.
Somebody has loved so much to kill.
Love and death are often two related things in literature (Catullo’s “odi et amo” and Shakespeare’s “Othello” are surely older than “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge”, don’t you think?), why if a rock band does it nowdays they’re called “satanists”?.
(this is directly related to the next point).
Now please read and think about this quote from Gerard Way:
“If for one minute you think you’re better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn’t know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about.”
3) MCR always did propaganda against violence and suicide.
For example, their last video for the single “Teenagers” ends with a cristal clear message written on the screen: “VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER“.
“Be yourself, dont take anyones shit and never let them take you alive” – Gerard Way.
“Never let them take you alive” does not mean “kill yourself”.
It means “fight with all of yourself for what you are and what you believe”.
“Life is very, very short, and you can choose to dumb yourself down
and not express yourself just so you can fit in,
just so people won’t dislike you. Or you can fucking live” – Gerard Way
“If you guys have been listening to this band and coming to see us for a long time, you know we’ve always said to you guys that if you get depressed, that you can find somebody to talk to. You can find help if you feel suicidal or anything like that. That’s something we’ve always said. That’s something we’ve been saying on this tour… is that, you know, sometimes the world can be a really ugly place, right? It’s not always really pretty, it’s ugly, people’s feelings get hurt. Sometimes it’s terrible, but it’s also a really beautiful place, and we all share it together. If you ever feel depressed or hurt in any way, or you find yourself feeling very desperate, you find somebody that you trust, that you can talk to– be it a teacher, a parent, a best friend, a therapist at school. There’s lots of free programs, you guys can find somebody to talk to… but the main thing is no matter what, no matter what happens to you, no matter how desperate you feel, you never resort to violence.” – Gerard Way.
“Everytime somebody ever told you that you weren’t gonna amount to anything, you know, that’s your time to shine, you know, you can show everybody and prove to yourself what you’re doing is real and that it counts and that it makes a difference.” – Gerard Way.
“Suicide is a serious thing. And if you know anyone who is suicidal, you need to get them help. No one should be in pain. Everyone should love themselves. Like I love you all.” – Gerard Way.
“Hey, girls, you’re beautiful. Don’t look at those stupid magazines with sticklike models. Eat healthy and exercise. That’s all. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough. You’re good enough, you are too good. Love your family with all your heart and listen to it. You are gorgeous, whether you’re a size 4 or 14. It doesn’t matter what you look like on the outside, as long as you’re a good person, as long as you respect others. I know it’s been told hundreds of times before, but it’s true. Hey, girls, you are beautiful.” – Gerard Way
“I don’t want people to be afraid of living, which I think is everybody’s biggest fear. I want people to express themselves how they want. If that means dressing up in women’s clothing, so be it. I’m very opposed to intolerance, racism and sexism. Men are still being called ‘faggot.’ I see women being treated as second-class citizens, even in punk rock. So if it’s happening there, it’s happening everywhere. I’m very much into acceptance” – Gerard Way
“I’d encourage your smiles I’ll expect you won’t cry” (The End, from The Black Parade)
“You’ll never make me, because the world will never take my heart. Go and try you’ll never break me. / I’m just a man, I’m not a hero, I’m just a boy, who’s meant to sing this song” (Welcome To The Black Parade, from The Black Parade)
“Stand up fucking tall, don’t let them see your back and take my fucking and never be afraid again” (Our Lady Of Sorrows, from I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love)
“You’ll never take me alive, do what it takes to survive, ’cause I’m still here” (from Kill All Your Friends)
Singer Gerad Way was an alcoholist and suicidal depressed.
But he got over it.
And now he spreads his message everyday.
He told his story to the world to teach people that life is unique, and can be beautiful if you just want it to be.
He’s not a freak who uses the “emo” cultural movement (see point 4).
MCR keep saying they’re not emo.
There are many interviews where the bands says that this label just doesn’t fit them.
4) What is emo.
It was a cultural movement of the latest 80’s, developed in the area of Washington, DC.
It was born to be the opposite of the punk wave.
Pratically, the punks were violent, and their music was full of rage.
The emos were calm people, and their music was more emotional (from this came the name of the movement), deep and calm. Nothing to do with the modern bands that nowdays are called “emo” (like MCR, 30 Seconds To Mars, From First To Last, Jimmy Eat World, Alesana etc).
The whole thing was distorted because of the internet, and now the term “emo” is associated with the stereotype of the kid with a long fringe, tight black clothes and studded belt.
What they call “emo” now has nothing to do with the 80’s cultural movement, whose kids used to dress more like “nerds”, we’d say nowdays.
It’s just fashion, it’s a trend developed by and among the kids.
MCR always denied the emo-phenomenom, and never wanted to use it to make success, because the way they dress can’t be compared to a lot of other long-fringed bands.
5) Last (but not least) point. This is the most important point, where we want to talk about the story of Hannah Bond.
She, like many other young kids, wanted to be “something” because she didn’t want to be a ”nobody”.
For these teenagers, being themselves is not enough. You know, it takes a lots of strenght to be YOURSELF, without any label. It’s easier to be a “emo”, “punk”, “goth”, “skater” or whatever.
They want to be part of something, they want to be unique, they want to be different.
Teenagers always wanted to be in a group, an èlite, it’s always been this way.
Hannah Bond was a disturbed young girl, and the truth is their parents weren’t able to help her.
Self-harming is a serious psycologic problem, which has been ridiculized and commercialized by the emo-phenomenom on the internet.
She said to her parents that she used to cut herself for and “initiation”, and she promised that she wouldn’t have done it again.
What kind of parent would ever do that?
Your little daughter CUTS HERSELF for an INITIATION and you don’t do anything?
Initiation rites are always related to satanism and septs, and you don’t get worried about your daughter doing this things?
Why didn’t they seriously talk to her, why didn’t they take her to a therapist?
The problem is not the music.
Billions of kids listen to rock music, dress in black and studs, and they are HAPPY to live their life, just like we do.
They dress that way because they want to feel different, they want to express themselves.
You don’t have to control your son’s pc, you don’t have to get worried if your son buys a rock CD, you don’t have to set on fire all of his black clothes.
You have to teach your sons the value of life.
You have to teach them to think with their own brain, to be JUST THEMSELVES, without being constricted by anyone or any kind of label.
It’s too easy to say that it’s all due to a rock band.
We don’t believe it, and we want everybody to know this:
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE SAVED OUR LIVES.
from their official website www.mychemicalromance.com

MCR is Life…
Their music is life. They have pulled to me outside from the abyss in which I was falling… have helped me with the force of their witnesses, the depth of their emotions. To all I want to scream that THEY ARE NOT EMO! And that a group of therefore wide public would never tempt to self-destruction and suicide.
If not to react without violence…
For being someone it must are given to make. And to kill themselves are exact the opposite one. For being someone it must first of all respect themselves like persons, as individuals and to love itself even if we are not perfect.
The world is beautiful why it is varied… and Black times are not exceeded humiliating…
sorry for my english…but this is my thought…
besos
and…Thanks MCR…for all…simply to exist…

Exceptional letter <3
I agree, all the things are TRUE.
support MCR!!!
great letter. I couldn’t do anything better.
I think I’ll post something on my blog, I know it’s nothing, but it could be helpful!
grande dani.
This is absurd.
I just read what happened to that girl and it shocked me. Not because of what she did. Not because of her age. But because of what her parents said.
How can they point the finger at the music?
How can they blame my chemical romance and not themselves?
I agree with everything is written in this letter.
And now, I’ll try to explain in few words why this band saved my life and how MUSIC can change a person.
For me music is life. And this is not a fashion statement, believe me. Because music gives you hope and strenght. And that’s what Mcr did for me. Thanks to them I met new friends. I appreciate more a lot of things. I felt “someone” and not “nobody”. But the more important thing is that people appreciate me as I am, my parents love me the same way they did before. Maybe the first times I listened to Mcr they were a little doubtful because I started to wear dark clothes and eyeliner, I started to go to concerts ecc. but now they know how they were/are important to me and this is enough for me!
Mcr just wanted to help people sharing their thoughts with their songs.
That’s all
grandi.
Questa è la verità.
Complimenti
It’s hard, when you lose anyone, and devastating when you lose a child. It makes it ten thousand times harder to deal when your child kills themselves and there is a possibilty you could have done something.
The parents canNOT accept that they may have been responsible in any way. It is much easier to point the finger at some one or thing else. Less guilt that way.
It doesn’t make it right, it just is the way it is. This isn’t the first time this situation has happened. It will not be the last time, either.
Music lyrics are similar to poetry, subject to interpretation. This music has nothing to directly to do with this poor young girl’s death. If it had anything to do with her idea of suicide, it was in the way she interpreted the meaning of the words.
The band cannot, should not be held responsible for this poor girl’s incorrect interpretation.
i think its brilliant you guys are doing this
the boys of mychem would be so proud if they knew about this.
you have all my support! keep faith.
love,
joyce
I can’t begin to understand the pain Hannah’s parents are going through. I pray that they find peace and acceptance.
But blaming music is wrong, it’s just an easy way out of dealing with what really happened.
I was suicidal and I found hope in music, specially in My Chem… and my parents love them because they got their daughter back.
I already sent an email with my story, I hope it helps people realise what My Chemical Romance is all about.
By the way, the press should do some digging before writing about the band, they obviously don’t have a fucking clue about the message these five awesome guys give.
Of course, the easiest way is to blame this amazing band, not the parents that didn’t care about their daughter. Ridiculous.
Keep up the good work.
Guys would be proud if they knew how amazing fans they have.
I think they’ve already known that.
You have my support.
i completly agree , but i find it odd coz mcr said they hated the suicidal part of wat emo has become and if hana wanted to fully be with mcr all the way, woodnt she hav done wat gee said and stopped or gotten help?
I love this, it was well put and to the point. MCR saves lives, it saved my best friends life. and i have to thank them, and they also helped me out. I get depressed easily thinking i’m alone, but then i think thats a lie there’s others out there that are just like me. i read the books and look up to MCR, the’ve been through a lot and people have no right to put the blame on them for what a girl did to herself. Her parents must of keep a better eye on her or people should of said something. but MCR saves lives!
and they always will!
thank My Chem for being there <3
I thank you with all of my heart.
hy everybody, how I see some people hispan Ill use my spanish……..
I think that these people are outa their minds!!!!
MCR is a GREAT band and they DO save lives, hell they saved mine!!! I used to be a goth/emo outcast and MCR saved me. Yes I do thing Gerard is hot but that’s not all I gained from MCR I gained the courage to believe in myself no matter what. It’s sad that Hannah killed herself but people shouldn’t blame music or in this case MCR. I ♥ MCR and as of a couple months ago I ♥ life!
MCR SAVED MY EFFING LIFE!!!!!
Okay so I am thirteen years old and ever scince I was 5 I had been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. Heres a artical from the wikkipedia to explain what it is Classification
Asperger syndrome is one of the autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), which are a spectrum of psychological conditions that are characterized by abnormalities of social interaction and communication that pervade the individual’s functioning, and by restricted and repetitive interests and behavior. Like other psychological development disorders, ASD begins in infancy or childhood, has a steady course without remission or relapse, and has impairments that result from maturation-related changes in various systems of the brain.[6] ASD, in turn, is a subset of the broader autism phenotype (BAP), which describes individuals who may not have ASD but do have autistic-like traits, such as social deficits.[7] Of the other four ASD forms, autism is the most similar to AS in signs and likely causes but its diagnosis requires impaired communication and allows delay in cognitive development; Rett syndrome and childhood disintegrative disorder share several signs with autism, but may have unrelated causes; and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) is diagnosed when the criteria for a more specific disorder are unmet.[8] The extent of the overlap between AS and high-functioning autism (HFA—autism unaccompanied by mental retardation) is unclear.[3][9][10][11] The current ASD classification may not reflect the true nature of the conditions.[12]
Characteristics
A pervasive developmental disorder, Asperger syndrome is distinguished by a pattern of symptoms rather than a single symptom. It is characterized by qualitative impairment in social interaction, by stereotyped and restricted patterns of activities and interests, and by no clinically significant delay in cognitive development or general delay in language.[13] Intense preoccupation with a narrow subject, one-sided verbosity, restricted prosody and intonation, and motor clumsiness are typical of the condition, but are not required for diagnosis.[3]
Social interaction
The lack of demonstrated empathy is possibly the most dysfunctional aspect of Asperger syndrome.[2] Individuals with AS experience difficulties in basic elements of social interaction, which may include a failure to develop friendships or enjoy spontaneous interests or achievements with others, a lack of social or emotional reciprocity, and impaired nonverbal behaviors such as eye contact, facial expression, posture, and gesture.[1]
Unlike those with autism, people with AS are not usually withdrawn around others; they approach others, even if awkwardly, for example by engaging in a one-sided, long-winded speech about a favorite topic while being oblivious to the listener’s feelings or reactions, such as signs of boredom or haste to leave.[3] This social awkwardness has been called “active but odd”.[3] This failure to react appropriately to social interaction may appear as disregard for other people’s feelings, and may come across as insensitive. The cognitive ability of children with AS often lets them articulate social norms in a laboratory context,[1] where they may be able to show a theoretical understanding of other people’s emotions; they typically have difficulty acting on this knowledge in fluid, real-life situations, however.[3] People with AS may analyze and distill their observation of social interaction into rigid behavioral guidelines and apply these rules in awkward ways—such as forced eye contact—resulting in demeanor that appears rigid or socially naïve. Childhood desires for companionship can be numbed through a history of failed social encounters.[1]
The hypothesis that individuals with AS are predisposed to violent or criminal behavior has been investigated and found to be unsupported by data.[1][14] More evidence suggests children with AS are victims rather than victimizers.[15]
Restricted and repetitive interests and behavior
Those with AS often display intense interests, such as this boy’s fascination with molecular structure.People with Asperger syndrome display behavior, interests, and activities that are restricted and repetitive and are sometimes abnormally intense or focused. They may stick to inflexible routines or rituals, move in stereotyped and repetitive ways, or preoccupy themselves with parts of objects.[13]
Pursuit of specific and narrow areas of interest is one of the most striking features of AS.[1] Individuals with AS may collect volumes of detailed information on a relatively narrow topic such as dinosaurs or deep fat fryers, without necessarily having genuine understanding of the broader topic.[1][3] For example, a child might memorize camera model numbers while caring little about photography.[1] This behavior is usually apparent by grade school, typically age 5 or 6 in the U.S.[1] Although these special interests may change from time to time, they typically become more unusual and narrowly focused, and often dominate social interaction so much that the entire family may become immersed. Because topics such as dinosaurs often capture the interest of children, this symptom may go unrecognized.[3]
Stereotyped and repetitive motor behaviors are a core part of the diagnosis of AS and other ASDs.[16] They include hand movements such as flapping or twisting, and complex whole-body movements.[13] These are typically repeated in longer bursts and look more voluntary or ritualistic than tics, which are usually faster, less rhythmical and less often symmetrical.[17]
Speech and language
Although children with Asperger syndrome acquire language skills without significant general delay, and the speech of those with AS typically lacks significant abnormalities, language acquisition and use is often atypical.[3] Abnormalities include verbosity; abrupt transitions; literal interpretations and miscomprehension of nuance; use of metaphor meaningful only to the speaker; auditory perception deficits; unusually pedantic, formal or idiosyncratic speech; and oddities in loudness, pitch, intonation, prosody, and rhythm.[1]
Three aspects of communication patterns are of clinical interest: poor prosody, tangential and circumstantial speech, and marked verbosity. Although inflection and intonation may be less rigid or monotonic than in autism, people with AS often have a limited range of intonation; speech may be unusually fast, jerky or loud. Speech may convey a sense of incoherence; the conversational style often includes monologues about topics that bore the listener, fails to provide context for comments, or fails to suppress internal thoughts. Individuals with AS may fail to monitor whether the listener is interested or engaged in the conversation. The speaker’s conclusion or point may never be made, and attempts by the listener to elaborate on the speech’s content or logic, or to shift to related topics, are often unsuccessful.[3]
Children with AS may have an unusually sophisticated vocabulary at a young age and have been colloquially called “little professors”, but have difficulty understanding figurative language and tend to use language literally.[1] Individuals with AS appear to have particular weaknesses in areas of nonliteral language that include humor, irony, and teasing. They usually understand the cognitive basis of humor but may not enjoy it due to lack of understanding of its intent.[10]
Other
Individuals with Asperger syndrome may have signs or symptoms that are independent of the diagnosis, but can affect the individual or the family. These include differences in perception and problems with motor skills, sleep, and emotions.
Individuals with AS often have excellent auditory and visual perception.[18] Children with ASD often demonstrate enhanced perception of small changes in patterns such as arrangements of objects or well-known images; typically this is domain-specific and involves processing of fine-grained features.[19] Conversely, compared to individuals with HFA, individuals with AS have deficits in some tasks involving visual-spatial perception, auditory perception, or visual memory.[1] Many accounts of individuals with AS and ASD report other unusual sensory and perceptual skills and experiences. They may be unusually sensitive or insensitive to sound, light, touch, texture, taste, smell, pain, temperature, and other stimuli, and they may exhibit synesthesia, for example, a smell may trigger perception of color;[20] these sensory responses are found in other developmental disorders and are not specific to AS or to ASD. There is little support for increased fight-or-flight response or failure of habituation in autism; there is more evidence of decreased responsiveness to sensory stimuli, although several studies show no differences.[21]
Hans Asperger’s initial accounts[1] and other diagnostic schemes[22] include descriptions of motor clumsiness. Children with AS may be delayed in acquiring motor skills that require motor dexterity, such as bicycle riding or opening a jar, and may appear awkward or “uncomfortable in their own skin”. They may be poorly coordinated, or have an odd or bouncy gait or posture, poor handwriting, or problems with visual-motor integration.[1][3] They may show problems with proprioception (sensation of body position) on measures of apraxia (motor planning disorder), balance, tandem gait, and finger-thumb apposition. There is no evidence that these motor skills problems differentiate AS from other high-functioning ASDs.[1]
Children with AS are more likely to have sleep problems, including difficulty in falling asleep, frequent nocturnal awakenings, and early morning awakenings.[23][24] AS is also associated with high levels of alexithymia, which is difficulty in identifying and describing one’s emotions.[25] Although AS, lower sleep quality, and alexithymia are associated, their causal relationship is unclear.[24]
ever scince I was 5 years old I often would try to commit suiside often by hanging a hanger around my neck. I never fitted in I was never cofterbal I have very few friends But I learned that theres no reason to waste a life I moved on and mcr has had a huge effect on that. Sucide is never the answer I learned that the hard way
OMG i love MCR i went to my first concert and it was them and it was the best day of my life. I do think that MCR saves lifes because i no it has saved mine alot. I think that the “emo” lable if u call it that is used illrationally. Pointing fingers at bands is not the answer my mom did it today with system of a down.Being suicidal and “emo” just makes people feel like they belong. then you find out that you arent who you though that the “emo” kid you though you are and you relise that you want to be your own self. My Chemical Romance helped me go through that change. I do not think that The Black Parde is about suicide and expicaly not crap as my mom calls it. Un like some other bands who remain nameless MCRs music and songs actually meen something and are bassed on real things that have happend to Gerard or Mikey or Frank or RAy or Bob. The “emo” lable it stands for emotional and if you think about it we all are emotional…
Dana
Well… All I got to say is… It’s all true… MCR saved my life… Their music has something that gives me hope… Like the video says: MCR keeps them alive. That story of Hannah Bond…well, My Chem left a message in mychemicalromance.com.
Oh! And “Teenagers” end says “Violence Is Never The Answer”. But MTV didn’t pass that part…
Nevermind
MCR Saved My Life.
C.
Por isso digo, MCR saved my life.
My Chemical Romance have inspired and helped so many ppl that its hard to acftually comprehend. Their music is of a hopeful and postitive nature.

Esta carta é tão verdade…
Tão verdade…
My Chemical Romance salvam vidas…não as destroem…
Ah! My Chemical Romance NÃO É EMO!!!!!!
MCR 4 LIFE…
My Chemical Romance is my life my love and my world. without them I would be six feet under by now. Whenever I feel depressed, alone, or even feel like ending it I listen to their music and I ALWAYS feel better. They have taught me not to listen to the negative things said to me and only the positive. They have taught me that there are people that care and that I shouldn’t be afraid to carry on no matter what. If I lost everything and everyone I would still be able to carry on as I would still have their music but if I didn’t have them I wouldn’t be able to handle the world. MCR provides me with an escape from the real world when it all gets to much.
‘I will NEVER put a gun to thy lovers head.
I AM be willing to die for love.
Those who wrong me WILL feel my wrath.
I AM a demolition lover.
The bats HAVE been released time and time again.
NOTHING will hurt my lover. (even vampires)
I respect my lord,Gerard. AND the archangels (Ray,Frankie,Mikey,Bob)
I sing the holy hymns EVERYDAY.
I see beauty in blody love.

i don’t have a schocking story to tell about how my chemical romance saved my life. all i know is that when i need someone to make me feel like i’m not alone all i gotta do is listen to them. it works everytime…
i just want to thank them for being there for my everytime i need them.
I came close to death, as I have been emotionally depressed for 6 years, and the only reason I am still walking the earth is because of them. If you are depressed, I urge you to look inside your soul, and find the willpower to overcome this disorder, as I am already trying to overcome the battle. DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN’T AMOUNT UP TO ANYTHING. YOU ARE ALL PART OF THIS WORLD, AND DON’T EVER LET ME HEAR YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW YOU’RE NOT GREAT! NOBODY IS BETTER THAN YOU, AND DON’T THINK DIFFERENTLY. I march for MY CHEM!!!
My Chemical Romance saved me from becoming someone i wasnt. i was having a horrible time in 6,7 and 8th grade because i am constantly teased for my size. i felt like i didnt belong at school because everywhere i looked, people were laughing at me. MCRs music takes me to my own world were i dont have to worry about anything except what i am listening to. there music gave me a chance to let all my anger and depression out.
Thank You My Chemical Romance(and god) for Saving my life!
good job guys! I’m seventeen and I from Poland (sorry for my bad english). when I was fifteen I felt depress and I wanted kill myself… long time I was withdrawn, I had no friends and I couldnt talk with anybody. All the time I was listening the gothic and rock music in my dark room.I thought that nobody loves me (and i still think like that).Fortunately now a day I’m normal teenager.
All humans’re said that I’m “stange” and abnormal and this is my music false. It’s not truth! I was always normal but others people made me to believe it!
Last year I took to other place and I met new people whitch accept me. Then I understood that all my dark thinks aroused in myself others, nothing else!
At this moment I’m happy girl .Althought I have a lot of complex I know I’m not the worst(?) and I can be pretty:)
I have many hobbies for example: play violin, sing ,draw and I love listening music . My favourite bands r; MCR,30STM,Nightwish and Metallica.
I’d like to tell you guys ,you’re great because we all r great! Remember it when you’ll have worse days:)
How said Gerard Way:
“Hey, girls, you are beautiful.”
once again sorry for my english
